MSNBC historian Michael Beschloss defamed the Supreme Court as “fascist” and “authoritarian” after they quashed the landmark Roe v. Wade abortion case on Friday.

The “Morning Joe” panel argued that by overthrowing Roe and giving states the power to make their own abortion rights laws, the court authorized the Orwellian “Big Government” and could lead to another civil war.

“This is fascist in many ways,” Beschloss began, saying the court’s opinion sounded like former President Trump’s inaugural address in 2017.

“If a woman in the hospital room has a miscarriage, and let’s say one of the people in the room is upset by what they see because they’ve read Dobbs, they’ve read this line, so what are they going to do? They’re going to call 911. The police enter the hospital room with magnifying glasses and say, ‘Is this an abortion? We’re going to call the prosecutor,'” he claimed.

The historian called the Supreme Court the government’s menacing villain in George Orwell’s classic novel ‘1984’.

“These so-called small conservative governments, the five, but especially the three Trump appointees, show that they are actually on the side of Orwell and the autocracy. They want Americans to report on each other, to spy on each other,” said Beschloss.

He later reiterated his claim that the Supreme Court was “authoritarian” and “fascist” for undoing the “majority” of Americans on abortion rights. He called the court “a small minority who are essentially t dominate the country’s politics.”

ROE V. WADE SCHEME SEE MSNBC, CNN, AND MORE FULL OF VERSED EARTH: ‘CIVIL WAR’

Conservatives have argued the ruling is more in line with the Constitution than what Roe allowed. By taking Roe down, the Supreme Court stripped the federal government of power and gave it back to states to set their limits on abortion.

But Beschloss feared that this ruling could lead to civil war.

The historian, who addressed presenter Joe Scarborough’s argument earlier in the show, claimed, “When there’s an evil tyranny by the minority…it often leads to civil war.”
